Development

The listed Lokhalle is currently undergoing sustainable renovation and will serve as a very special event venue in the future.

Planning for the restoration and conversion of the Lokhalle began in spring 2019. The focus here is particularly on the restoration of the two aisles of the hall in accordance with the preservation order, with the aim of an adequate conversion to a cultural event and studio location. The structural implementation is planned for the years 2021-2023. Financing will be provided by the State of Berlin and the SIWANA Fund.
