Visitor regulations
Please note:
- Cycling and skating is allowed on paved surfaces, but motor vehicles, motorbikes and mopeds are not permitted.
- Dogs and other animals must be on a leash outside the areas designated for animals. Please dispose of dog excrement in the rubbish bins provided.
- Barbecuing is permitted only in the three designated areas. Barbecues must be on legs at least 20 cm above the ground so as not to destroy the grass. Baseless, disposable and gas-powered barbecues are not permitted. Please do not dispose of hot ash or charcoal in plastic rubbish bins as this can cause fire.
- Disturbing the soil is prohibited.
Restrictions on use
There are sensitive flora and fauna habitats in the southern area of the former airfield between the runways that are protected at certain times of year, so use of these areas is restricted at these times. These areas are fenced and provided with signs. Please respect the nature conservation areas.
Temporary protection zones for skylarks
Please note that the area between the runways cannot be accessed from the end of March until at least the end of July every year to protect ground-nesting skylarks.

Park Supervision (Parkaufsicht)

Visitors are required to comply with the instructions of service and security personnel, who are responsible for enforcing the regulations. There is an office for lost and found objects and first aid in the park supervision building.
