Tourist information system

The "Berlin tourist information system" makes it easier for Berliners and guests of the city to find their way around the capital. It consists of two uniformly designed, sapphire-blue components: The classic signposts and digital as well as analogue information pillars.

Since autumn 2019, digital and analogue information pillars have initially been installed at eight locations as part of a pilot phase. In the coming years, the installation of an expected total of 220 steles is planned. Guests from all over the world and all Berliners will thus have a new opportunity to better orient themselves in the city and to obtain comprehensive information about nearby tourist destinations and offers. Grün Berlin has been operating the tourist signage system since 2004, which is primarily aimed at pedestrians and shows the quickest way to tourist attractions throughout the city.
